SXSW: Big Names at Waterloo Records

As SXSW music week continues along, bigger and bigger names are popping up around town. While most of the official showcases do not start until around 8:00 pm, many of the bars and shops around town are throwing their own events to keep everyone entertained. Waterloo Records, located on North Lamar, has day parties Wednesday through Saturday and is not holding back.
The shop had live acts performing all day and Wednesday, AWOLNATION was in the building doing an album signing. The line snaked its way through the building as tons of fans were pouring in. The band had smiles on their faces throughout the event and made sure to thank all of the fans for coming out. The signing was a great way to kick off their new album which had only released a day or two before.
