After meeting in 2011, Killer Mike and EI-P decided to tour together and the rest, as they say, is history.

As solo artists, Killer Mike and EI-P had strong career beginnings, collaborating with some of hip-hop’s best acts including Outkast and Danny Brown.

Run The Jewels released their first album in 2013. Though the album never penetrated the mainstream, the project received critical acclaim and garnered more-than-favorable reviews from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and The Guardian.

In 2014, the duo released Run The Jewels 2, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard rap charts.

While fans wait for the pair’s third studio album, Run The Jewels 3, you can catch the group performing at Sound on Sound Fest.

Sound on Sound Fest will run November 4-6 at Sherwood Forest in McDade, TX. Purchase passes here.
