Sad Allen to headline December 10th concert at Bohemeo’s in Houston.

University of Houston students and Houston fans of indie music should be delighted to hear of the gathering of local Indie bands at Bohemeo’s coffee shop on December 10th. The lineup boasts three local indie bands and includes some close friends of Coog Radio.
Starting off the show is a five-piece indie rock group known as Ever and the Experience. While maintaining the indie sound, Ever and the Experience manages to incorporate elements of garage rock and traditional alternative rock, creating a fairly distinct sound for the Houston indie rock scene.
Ever and the Experience’s latest release (EP titled Something 2 Remember) can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, and several other platforms.
The second act of the evening is the indie band known as April Company. April Company are relative veterans of the Houston music, forming in 2019. The band has a cheery vibe, with the four-piece featuring singer and guitarist Zak Pham, guitarist Davis Evans, bassist Connor Oelson, and drummer Julian Combong.
April Company spent some time in our studio last week for the Coog Radio Concert Series. Their performance at Coog Radio will be released in the coming weeks. April Company can be found anywhere listeners stream music.
Lastly, a personal friend of Coog Radio, Allen Mathew and his band Sad Allen will be headlining the show on December 10th. University of Houston students may recognize Sad Allen from their pop-up show at Lynn Eusan Park inside of the UH campus on Monday, November 29th.
Sad Allen’s music is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and anywhere you would stream music.
The three groups will be performing for free at Bohemeo’s on December 10th. The show begins at 7:30 pm, but listeners are free to enjoy a coffee or a drink before the show.
