Los Angeles-born and raised superstar, Doja Cat graced the Toyota Center stage with Florida native Doechii.

Doja Cat has had an amazing come-up in the music industry from her silly viral hit “MOOO!” to her most recent number-one in the Billboard Hot 100 “Paint The Town Red”. Her charisma throughout the show was confident, funny, and sensual.

The show kicked off with TDE’s first rap lady Doechii. The Tampa artist hit the stage with a mustache and a swamp-like set. She performed songs like “Swamp Bitches”, “Persuasive”, and the song that sparked her career “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake”. Doechii is a spectacular performer who shows off her craft when it comes to vocals and dancing. She also performed “Stressed”, “Crazy”, and her most recent viral hit “What It Is (Block Boy). Doechii is an artist whose future is extremely bright, so check her out!

After a stellar opener it was time for the Houston crown to see the person they crowded in for, Doja Cat. Coming off her most recent project Scarlet Doja Cat did an incredible job showing off her different eras. With a five-act show, Doja Cat covered the bases for fans old and new. She opened up the show with her album outro “WYM Freestyle”, “Demons”, and early hit “Tia Tamera”. Her stage set was in a triangle shape with occasional props like a big spider, eye, and dancers coming in when needed. A highlight performance was “Attention” where the dancer in her really shined. The choreography and performance during that song really deserve your attention.

For her older fans, she played songs from her albums Planet Her and Hot Pink. Houston got to hear “Woman”, “Say So”, and with a kiss cam “Kiss Me More”. Flowers need to be given to Doja Cat due to her versatility to sing, rap, and dance her ass off to the highest level. To close off the show a video interlude of her and Doechii was played before getting into the last tracks. Songs like “97”, “Go Off”, and “Wet Vagina” from Scarlet ended the night. Doja Cat is continuing her tour throughout the states where Ice Spice will join her as the opener!
