The Houston music scene has recently been taken by storm as the members of the up-and-coming indie band, Elevator Days, continue to make a name for themselves. With a handful of performances and now only two singles released, they have rose in popularity with their great personalities and glowing stage presence.

On February 17, 2024, Elevator Days released their second single, “Unknown,” which was accompanied by a celebratory set at Houston venue, The End, on the same day.  Also on the lineup for the event was Bipolar Joyride, Sleep Schedule, KJU and Gus Baldwin.

As the first performance of the night, Elevator Days was sure to kick things off on a high note. From the skillful drumming of Samantha Cotrofeld, the amazing guitar solos of Kevin Young, strong vocals of Ethan Mendoza and the groovy bass lines of James Garcia, the audience was totally engaged and eager to hear more from the second the band began to play.

Apart from their electric originals including their newest, “Unknown,” and “Call Me When You Get Home,” they also performed great covers as well. When it was time to exit the stage, the audience was sad to see them go.

Overall, it was a great night for local music and exciting release day for Elevator Days. If you ever get the chance, I would most definitely recommend seeing them live.
