My Chemical Romance Returns to Houston in Full Glory

Put on your black parade jacket and water-proof eyeliner, because My Chemical Romance is coming to the Toyota Center on September 29th!
Seven years after calling it quits, the rock giants reunited to the delight of fans all over the world.
The band is no stranger to false alarms. Even at the time of the initial breakup in 2013, many fans were certain it was nothing more than an early April Fool’s joke. But on Halloween of 2019, they announced to the world via social media that they would return.
2019 is a fitting year for their return when one considers the significance of how it’s the same year their final concept album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, takes place in. As an act known for their theatrics and attention to symbolic detail, nothing less could have been expected.
Tickets to their comeback show at The Shrine, L.A., sold out in under 10 minutes to a select few who waited in an online cue for 10 minutes to an hour, leaving the rest in line to wallow in disappointment.

The response was clearly greater than anyone expected. Following their triumphant show on December 20th, the band began to drop some festival dates around the world, though none in the U.S. This lead to speculations on whether or not they planned to play the states again before retreating back into hiding.
But today, all doubts can be laid to rest. The band has announced a cross-country tour. H-town, get ready, your stop is on September 29th.
You saw what happened with the L.A. show, tickets sold out at an impossible speed. Don’t miss out again. Tickets go on sale January 31st, so grab ’em while you can!
