Dylan Gossett, a rising star in country and Americana, performed a sold-out show at the House of Blues on April 16, 2024, as part of his No Better Time Tour.

The night began with the soulful melodies of James Tucker, a North Carolina-native indie country singer-songwriter. Tucker, with his mellow yet captivating performance, set the perfect tone for the night, seamlessly blending original compositions like “Marler Road” and “Man I Am” with heartfelt covers such as Tyler Childers’ “Feathered Indians” and Morgan Wallen’s “Cover Me Up.” His performance set the perfect tone for the evening, drawing cheers and applause from the audience eagerly anticipating Gossett’s appearance.

By the time he performed his breakout hit “Coal,” the entire room was singing along as one. As the music started, the crowd held up their phones and sang the lyrics with passion and enthusiasm. Gossett let the audience sing the chorus by themselves, which made the experience even more special.

As the night drew to a close, Gossett defied convention, opting to forego the traditional encore and instead delivering an uninterrupted stream of musical euphoria.
