Nite Jewel – 11/5 – Boondocks

L.A R&B starlet Ramona Gonzalez a.k.a Nite Jewel is playing tonight (11/5) at Boondocks (I know, that’s what we thought too) thanks to the good folks over at Lunaface.
Early in the year, they brought Nite Jewel collaborator-turned-friend/funk counterpart Dam Funk, putting tonight’s show in a series of what we can only describe as Lunaface’s L.A takeover of Houston (if that’s so guys, next time can you bring Julia Holter so this can happen live?? and also can we get a Holy Shit reunion?)
It’s the band’s first time in Houston (I presume, not 100% on that), so give them a warm Texas welcome akin to the warm analog synth-driven R&B they’ll be delivering tonight. Doors are at 7pm, also on the bill are Night Drive and a DJ set by Tangled Woods. 21+ $3 / 18+ $7
