Well, if you read the previous post about Deftones and how rumors were circling of the name of the album being Gore, you’ll know I thought it was a ruse. What led me to believe this was that lead singer Chino Moreno made those awful graphics and tweeted them.
What an exciting past few days it has been for Deftones fans. First, the alternative metal band revealed the new album drop date. Said album has been in the works and supposedly was to be released last September. Clearly, the album is going to be so good since an extension was called for.
This summer there will be a once-in-a-lifetime co-headlining tour with these two bands who have been around for over two decades–Incubus opened for Deftones’ tour back in 2000, a very long time ago.
