Little Mix Releases “Black Magic” Music Video!
Written by Coog Radio on May 31, 2015
If you want a “Girl’s Just Want To Have Fun” type of song that reminds you of the Spice Girls, Little Mix’s new single “Black Magic” is that song! It will take you from 2015 to the 1990s pretty quickly. If the Bratz dolls and Sabrina The Teenage Witch came together to make an almost four minute movie … this would be it.
The British girl group, consisting of Perrie Edwards, 21, Jade Thirlwall, 22, as well as Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Ann, both 23, trade their unique sense of style for unfashionable outfits and dirty looks. Check it out below!
I’m completely obsessed with how precious “Black Magic” is, and I commend Little Mix for the concept of the video. The fact that the girls are early into their twenties makes it even more impressive that they have ditched their bomb choreography to put out video like this to prove that female artists don’t always have to take off their clothes to make sales. Some believe that Little Mix are encouraging girls to change the way they look in order to receive attention, but according to Leigh-Anne, “The potion is a little connotation for confidence.” Once you have confidence and believe in yourself, anything is possible!
“Black Magic” is a complete visual transformation and side step from their 2013 hit “Salute”… but the message of girl power remains the same.

After becoming the first girl group to win the eighth series of the UK’s X Factor in 2011, Little Mix have gone on to sell more than 7.5 million records worldwide and even co-wrote “Pretty Girls,” the new single from Britney Spears ft. Iggy Azalea. Their new album, which has been described as having an entire new sound, is projected for a 2015 release!
