Weekend two of Austin City Limits is approaching, and it’s coming in quick. Not only is the festival almost here, so is U.K. punk band Slaves.

Slaves was formed in 2012 in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The band consists of  Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman. The duo has been making a smash in Britain for three years now, and neither of the members plans on stopping anytime soon.

The groups first EP Sugar Coated Bitter Truth although not chart topping, the bands vicious drums and fast paced guitar caused a stir in Britain’s music scene.

They later released their first sing “Where’s Your Car Debbie?,” in 2014 before being signed to Virgin EMI Records. Under Virgin, the band recorded their debut album Are You Satisfied? in June 2015, which rose to number 8 on the UK Album Chart within its first week.

The band will be touring in the near future to promote their new album ‘Take Control.” You can catch them this upcoming Saturday, for Weekend two of ACL.

Keep up with Slaves on Facebook, Twitter. Take Control is available on iTunes and Google Play.
