When We Were Young Festival announces a second date today, after the first date sold out.

This year’s festival starts Oct. 21, then comes back on Oct. 22 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

The lineup is the same as the first date, with Blink-182 and Green Day as headliners.

Presale starts Friday, Feb. 24 at 4:00 p.m. CST. You can sign up here to receive the presale code via text. General admission costs $279.99, and hotel and ticket packages start at $489.00. Layaway plans at $19.99 will be available during presale.

Blink-182 have yet to announce their album release date. Perhaps they will publicize that today, since they announced the “big news” when the festival released the 2023 lineup.

Other bands on the tour have new releases. Pierce the Veil’s “The Jaws of Life” came out Feb. 10, leaving high reviews by critics. Houston natives Waterparks released four singles, and their album “Intellectual Property” comes out April 14.

Emo pioneers The Academy Is are also opening up for Fall Out Boy’s So Much for (Tour) Dust in Chicago. Lead vocalist William Beckett was at Emo Nite in San Antonio last month, days before announcing the Chicago show.

Fall Out Boy’s new album “So Much (For) Stardust” releases March 24. They will be coming to Houston on June 27 with Bring Me the Horizon.
