Muse releases additional Drones World Tour Dates in North America
Written by Gleann Ignacio on October 19, 2015
Notorious English rock band, Muse, has just released additional North American tour dates to their Drones World Tour 2015/16 with support from Phantogram and X Ambassadors.
This particular tour will allow the band to perform for the first time ever from the middle of the arena. The stage is designed this way to give fans a true 360 degree audio/visual experience. Frontman Matt Bellamy stated in an interview provided by Rolling Stone that this tour would be the most theatrical tour the band has ever put on in North America.
“Its going to be even more theatrical than probably any show we’ve done in North America,” says Bellamy. “I don’t want to promise too much, but we want to incorporate drones into the show. I don’t know what health and safety will allow us to do though.”
– Matt Bellamy

Muse released their seventh album, Drones, this June, and had instantly sold out shows all around the world including adding a second date in Los Angeles, CA. The band released a statement prior to the release of Drones claiming that they wanted to go back to their roots sound-wise. Drones has garnered much praise within the four months of its debut. Tour dates have been coming out sporadically throughout the year.
