Rihanna
Wrapping up black history month, I wanted to discuss some of my favorite black musicians who have influenced me today. The pioneers who have paved the way.
In one of the early teasers for MAX’s new proudy controversial series The Idol, the question is posed “When was the last truly-f***ing nasty, nasty, bad pop-girl?”. Though the line comes from a series whose contents and themes have been (and should be) examined with a critical lens, I still sat and pondered the question. […]
Bruno. Bruno. Bruno. Bruno Mars swaggered away with six Grammy Awards from the 60th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony held at Madison Square Garden on January 28, 2018. Through his album 24K Magic he won “Album of the Year”, “Record of the Year” and “Best R&B Album”. With his song “That’s What I Like” he won […]

At the iHeartRadio concert, Rihanna entered the stage via helicopter wearing what I can only describe as the sexiest leprechaun outfit I’ve ever seen. She then proceeded to tell the audience that that “B-tch” better have her money! The song […]
The trio released their video for “FourFive Seconds” earlier this morning! Kanye, Rihanna, and the legendary Paul are all sporting denim attire as seen on the song’s cover photo. This song is quite radio friendly and has a crazy replay value. With the video coming out just a few days after the song was released, the […]
