MTV Video Music Awards 2015: Recap and Winners

No matter how much shade the public tries to throw every year about how the MTV Video Music Awards are “not worth watching anymore,” this iconic award show always finds a way to do something to prove all the doubters wrong. Granted, it’s really subjective what “worth watching” really is, but nonetheless this year’s VMAs gave viewers plenty to talk about the next day. Whether it was Taylor and Nicki’s beef being squashed, Miley and Nicki’s beef (very publicly) beginning, the eclectic performances, Kanye’s self-indulgent Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech (shocked?) and announcement of his plans to run for presidency in 2020, or Miley’s equally surprising announcement of her new free album, it was good TV all the way.

It seems that every time Miley is attached to the VMAs, live TV magic seems to happen. So, here’s to many more Miley award show antics to come! However, here’s a list of what’s actually important about this show, THE WINNERS:
