HoneyLand 2023: a Guide to the Inaugural Food x Music Festival

Written by on October 25, 2023

From November 11 – 12, 2023, the Honeyland Festival is coming to the Crown Festival Park in Sugarland, Texas, with a stacked lineup and great food. Here is my guide to the inaugural food, drinks and music festival.

Tip #1: Wear Comfortable Shoes

If this is your first festival or you plan to spend the day there, wear comfortable shoes. There will be a lot of walking from the stages to vendor booths, and lots of standing when watching shows or waiting in lines. To make things easier, you can even bring a blanket to sit on or rent a chair! Although you are not allowed to bring your own, the festival has partnered with conCHAIRto to give attendees the option to reserve seating for once they are inside festival grounds. There is a discounted price for this service if purchased prior to the event!

Tip #2: Know All Purchases Are Cashless

Because the festival is completely cashless, be sure to bring your debit card or have your cashless apps on your phone to make purchases. Honeylanders can purchase food, merchandise, etc.

Tip #3: Plan Your Day

With doors opening at noon each day, the weekend will be full of star-studded artists, delicious food for the soul and entertaining live demonstrations. So much to do, but you can’t be everywhere at the same time. No matter if it’s for one day or for the weekend, plan your day. Start off by looking at the artist’s lineup. Choose the top artists you want to see, then fill in the gaps with a food break. Also, check the live demonstration and exemplary talk shows to peak your interest and add to your schedule. Along with planning, you can use the Honeyland map below to find where you want to go. You can check out the lineup here.

#4: Come Hungry

Honeyland has over twenty vendors coming together in one weekend. There will be seven locations to get food, including the Eats & Sip Stage that will feature live food and beverage demonstrations, competitions and conversations with the talented Marcus Samuelsson and Fawn Weaver.

#5: Know How to Get There

There are 3 parking locations: VIP Lot, Honey Lot and GA Lot 1. Every vehicle must have a
parking pass. The VIP Lot is for VIP ticket holders, but GA and GA+ Honeylanders can purchase a
VIP Arrival Experience on the Honeyland website. The Honey Lot is for General Admission and General Admission+ ticket holders. The Honey Lot is located at The Albert and Mamie George Building. This parking lot is the closest parking lot to the festival with less traffic. Lastly, the GA parking lot is located at 1 Fluor Daniel Dr, Sugar Land, TX 77478. This lot is for GA and GA+ pass holders. There will be a shuttle that runs back and forth between the parking lots and the Crown Festival Park at Sugar Land from 11 AM to forty-five minutes after the last performance. All parking and shuttle options can be purchased here.

#6: Have Your Passes Ready

Be sure to have your passes ready for entry. There are multiple pass options from One-Day to 2-Day Pass, and even the VIP Passes. For our amazing Coog Radio readers, you can get 20% OFF two-day tickets with our code: COOG20. Use our code when you go to purchase, and enjoy the weekend!

For any other questions, you can check out their FAQs here, and follow them on social media @HoneylandFest!
