“Bars are worth more than money because it’s something the people can use everyday to feel inspired.” – Kanye West

I generally am a rock oriented person, but I love, have and always will love, Rihanna. Her latest album, ANTI, which dropped the last Friday of January, is just resonating proof that she is my girl.

Houston-area progressive rock band Vox Vocis is enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Louisville native Bryson Tiller paid a visit to the birthplace of chopped and screwed music Sunday night at House of Blues.

On a humid Monday night, Bay Area native Gerald Gillum (better known as G-Eazy) stepped on stage with high energy and enthusiasm to show Houston a good time, all thanks to Scoremore Shows.

The last two years has certainly been a journey for Anderson .Paak. From being an opener for Watsky’s All You Can Do Tour, releasing his first debut studio album “Venice,” to being a key feature on Dr. Dre’s “Compton,” it’s no surprise to see .Paak has outdone himself once again on his newly released project, “Malibu.”

Taylor Gang rapper Wiz Khalifa and Houston native Travi$ Scott worked together to make a fire track over a sample of G-Eazy’s “Order More,” which dropped late Thursday night.

Bringing the Seattle vibes to Houston, rapper Macklemore showed Houston all the love on Saturday night at Revention Music Center.

The year is quickly coming an end, but it appears that the British band, The 1975, are only preparing for 2016.

If you’ve seen Tame Impala’s past music videos for “Cause I’m A Man” and “Let It Happen,” off his most recent album, Currents, you know how bizarrely out of this world the visuals are and how it goes oh so perfectly together with the tracks.

Kendrick and J. Cole have surprised the internet this past Friday by both releasing two tracks where they cover each other’s beats. After treating yourself to plenty of platefuls of thanksgiving goodies and late night shopping, prepare to treat your ears to Kendrick Lamar’s and J. Cole’s “Black Friday”s.

Much like in the past, Kali Uchis delivers one hell of a music video that includes her homeland Colombia and plenty of hip-heavy dancing.
